Champost

Champost is an organic fertilizer derived from mushroom cultivation. It is the nutrient soil on which mushrooms grow. Champost consists of a mixture of straw, horse manure, chicken manure, lime, peat and foam soil.

Champost has an acid-binding value (also called neutralizing value) due to the addition of lime. This indicates the extent to which the acidity of the soil is neutralized. The acid-binding value of champost is 45 per ton. When applying 25 tons/ha, this compares to a maintenance liming of 1125 kg CaO per ha. Do you want to increase the pH of the soil? Then consider applying champost instead of other organic fertilizers.
